A new way to decorate one's nails was born in the 90's in Japan, this technique is called the nail art. With a passion for the " kawaii " fashion (cute in Japanese), the nails became a real seduction and creation assets. This technique consists in decorating ones nails, creativity and craziness are dominating,
Nail polish : an inevitable fashion accessory.
It is possible to give a personal touch to nail polish : you pick the colour, it can match your clothes or accessories, make-up, or you can just put it on your nails because you want to. There are in the market, nail polish of any colour with different shades... But for months now in Europe, a declension has been developed : magnetic, crackled, design, and even more...
And what about fake nails ?
You can apply all the manicures mentioned above on fake nails (with a special gel or acrylic) but it's better to do it on your own nails, for more precision. Moreover, going to a specialist to put on fake nails is expensive ( between 50 and 100€ for placing fake nails and apply " classical " nail polish).
French manicure :
The most known is French manicure. In deed, French manicure reflects sobriety and elegance using only a clear nail polish on the nail with a white tip. Moreover, one can be proud to wear the « French Touch », that make the nails meticulous.

The " caviar " manicure :
Apply a layer of nail polish (choose the colour you want, but preferably black or grey) then, stick thin pearls onto the nail before it gets dry.
In fashion, this manicure was noticed in the Haute Couture fashion shows this Autumn/Winter season. The English brand,
Ciaté, created this association of pearl and nail polish. The caviare manicure brings brightness and stylishness to all clothes.

The magnetic manicure :
At first sight, this nail polish seems classical but the magnet that come with it makes all the difference! Apply a generous coat of magnetic polish to your nails and wait just a little bit before bringing closer the magnet. The magnet pattern is going to reflects on the nails creating 3D shades.
►Price : between 4 and 7 € depending the brands.
The crackled manicure :
It is the most easier to do. In deed, thanks to a « chemical » effect, the drawing appears. The kit contains two nail polish : a black one and the other depends on the models, and it is usually " festive " shades (like gold, silver, bronze,...). Apply the black nail polish layer first, after that, the second nail polish of the kit, wait a minute and then the second nail polish crackles. It is a very fun effect.
►Price : about 14 €
The stickers :
Easy to apply and the result is bluffing. Put the stickers one at a time and the only thing you have to do is use a file to take off the part of the stickers that goes past your nails. Only defect : the price. It cost at least 7€ per package, it is a bit expensive when you know that you'll only keep it one night, a week or two maximum.
►Price : the less expensive : 7 € the package of 10 stickers.
Nail polish stamp art :
Easier to personalized and the result is fantastic, even if it takes some time to do. First, apply the nail polish of your choice, then it becomes a bit difficult : choose the pattern on a metallic sheet, then apply a layer of nail polish on it, and with the stamp, " take the pattern off the sheet ". It is important to put down the pattern very carefully with the stamp.(
