“Just before the celebrations, a few years ago, a client asked me to go to Verbier in Switzerland to style her. The roads were covered by snow so I decided to take the gondola. It was snowing a lot, the windows were illuminated. I could feel warm atmospheres. A real fairy tale!

I was received by my client with mulled wine and gingerbread. The chalet was very warm: fire in the fireplace and candles invited me to relax. An atmosphere in harmony with the hygge (Danish art of happiness). For me, it was a real pleasure to take care of my client in this charming setting.

When I had to go, surprise! I didn’t see the time passed, the gondola was closed... “

Play with the make up tendencies of 2016-2017 winter to have a luminous complexion for the celebrations. To have a relaxed and radiant face, give priority to touches of highlighter. Add pinky blush which enables to enhance the complexion. The eyes, very smoky, wear dark tones for this season. Cold colors – dark brown, dark purple, khaki green, pigeon blue – are safe bets for any color of eyes and hair. The lips will be nude but glossy, or mat and dark. You can also think about the couture red color which is never out of fashion and gives gourmet and elegant effects.
