It was Audrey Tautou, as mistress of ceremonies, who officially declared the 66^th Cannes Film Festival open. This year’s jury includes Steven Spielberg, Nicole Kidman, Daniel Auteuil and Ang Lee.   Besides being an international film festival, Cannes is also an impressive window on the world of fashion for the 12 days of its duration. Designers, jewellers and make-up artists also find themselves in the spotlight thanks to actresses and muses. LiveCoiffure.com will be bringing you a daily up-date on celebrity style on the red carpet, paying particular attention to the latest trends in hair styles.   Spotted yesterday: an interpretation of sophisticated natural for Cindy Crawford whose locks caressed her superb, bare shoulders, Ludivine Sagnier’s bohemian attachment, the two ways of wearing the oh-so-in “side hair” as displayed by Paz Vega and Cara Delevingne and the chignon shown off to great effect through the blonde shades of Dessange muse, Vahina Giocante. All the styles above came thanks to Dessange, the official coiffure partner of the Festival.   The golden palm of the day goes to Nicole Kidman’s superb chignon -see video.
