Livecoiffure : What services do you propose to the future brides?

Almène Exquis :

Our offer is fully customized: it is proposed to the bride, the bridesmaid, the family and close friends. We work in our salon, Le Temps dune coupe in Ardon but we can also go to the client’s home. We first meet the future bride: for her, this day will be special. So we need to be there for her, to “feel” her personality in order to meet her expectations and to tame her universe. Our package is divided in three steps: the trial, the hairstyle for the civil marriage then the one for the official ceremony.

Livecoiffure : What is your specialty to stand out from other renowned hairdressers specialized in bridal hairstyles?

Almène Exquis : We do our best to make the bride beautiful highlighting her natural assets. Making a bridal hairstyle means transmitting an emotion relying on the natural assets and adding elegance and style. This often involves subtle details. This hairstyle must express happiness and accompany the bride with grace all day long.

Livecoiffure : Where did you get your inspiration from for your 2016 wedding collection?

Almène Exquis : I wanted to show our universe in the same spirit as a haute couture collection. In my personal life, I am close to nature but I appreciate some sort of refinement. I wanted to transmit this feeling through bridal hairstyles. That is how the Romantic Chic collection was created. Each hairstyle brings to mind a gesture, an emotion, a feeling. The neo bun, high on the head, unveils your beautiful neck. The bohemian braid falls languorously while the gypsy hairstyle shines with delight. Then come the braided or the twisted bun on the neck which only asks to be undone… Regarding the classic French twist, even if it plays the frightened virgin, don't judge a book by its cover….

Livecoiffure : Why did you choose Marlène Bérard as a makeup artist in your salon “Le temps d'une coupe, Almène”?

Almène Exquis : I met Marlène during a fashion show: I was styling and she was doing the make-up. We met each other through our common desire to enhance the natural beauty of women. It felt natural for us to share our universes.
