Fine and flat hair, fourth episode

Fine hair is not a fatality! There are tips and tricks to help you to coat your hair and give it volume. Here, are some ideas to fight what nature has provided us. A fine hair is almost 0.05 millimeters thinner than a “normal” or thick hair. This does however not mean that there is a hair health problem; it is only their structure which is different. It is also more fragile. Your hair may also seem less thick. This is more or less true depending on your hair color. A reminder, blonde hair has about 150 000 units whereas dark hair has 100 000 units, yes!

Here is a protocol in five steps to master  your fine hair at best .

    1/ Shampoo
We advise you to choose a specific product to coat and lighten your hair: the hair voluminators. Observation: fine hair can become greasy faster; you can thus alternate with shampoos against the excess of sebum.   2/ Hair care Rather use light textures aimed at volume and duration. In order to avoid making the fiber heavy, there are masks whose texture seems like wicked chocolate mousse…   3/ No rinse spray hair care After having rinsed and rubbing your hair with a towel, you can complete the hair care action with a formula without rinse. A volume spray which will coat your hair.  Vitality and density effect obtained.   4/ Hairstyle mousse Other choice: applying a hairstyle mousse to increase the duration and the volume. Spread it on the whole hair with a comb. Other advantage, it reduces the static electricity of fine hair.   5/ Styling Pre-drying your hair head down so that you can work the “roots” upside down this enables to obtain volume. The products applied before will assure the duration of your blow-dry. As a finishing touch, a flexible hairspray will be welcomed to preserve your result.   Christine Margossian pour LiveCoiffure.com   ► Discover the episode 1 of our dossier "scalp and hair": greasy hair ► Discover the episode 2 of our dossier "scalp and hair": dry hair ► Discover the episode 3 of our dossier "scalp and hair": hair loss
