Hairdressing competition New face 2015 : gold medal Florent DEBRUXELLES

The professional hairdressing magazine l’Eclaireur launched the competition New Face to discover today the talents of tomorrow and the results are announced during the Mondial Coiffure Beauté 2015. Regarding the three winners, the silver medal was awarded to Julien Vacca, the bronze medal to Sidali Merzouk and the gold medal to Florent DEBRUXELLES young partner of the talented Jérôme Guézou and Sébastien Bafcop. “ This collection is the result of my work focused on the different waves, on the Hollywood fashion of the forties, on the fantasy of futurist tendencies, but still attached to the present.

L’icône de mode is inspired by the famous chignons Chanel and the bob Mugler. Both are revisited with horse hair for an Alien side and strange alternative rock on the other side.

L’icône de cinéma refers to two divine comedian : Rita Hayworth, for her role of Gilda and Anita Ekberg for her interpretation in the Dolce Vita. Their hair are adorned with waves as glamour as themselves.

The inspiration of L’icône Spirituelle came from the headdress Kokochnik which represents the architecture of the roofs of the Russian churches. The hair in weightlessness refers to the lightness of the clouds in the sky. The diamantes on the other crown, mixed with tulle and evanescent hair, seem like the representation of a catholic virgin.

Finally, L’icône Fantastique is a confrontation between a dominant queen with a majestic posture and a witch with a mischievous look ".
