  • Christine, we are discovering the visuals of your last collections and we are surprised by two different themes. Health Goth first with that graphic black bob, we know you with a more glamour and sophisticated signature !

This is actually the year to break the codes , to assert yourself and to show who you really are. This season, there are two waves. A different gothic universe with a black look and a light complexion but with healthy, strong and shiny hair which explains the name Health Goth for the title of that collection.

Fashion robbed the gothic style, though the philosophy of the wave is diverted. Its followers take care of their abs, their thighs and their hair. They are not destined to be an eternal member of the Addams family. They live during the day and the night but healthy.

And they care about details. For that, a short Anglo-Saxon bob, very graphical highlighted by a shiny black, embodies the best the spirit of the couturier Alexander Wang or Rick Owens. AND, I've always loved the geometric haircuts !

But the tendencies of these last years led me to express myself on softer pictures...not necessarily me.

  • And you have a second series of It Looks Ginger Haired with a provocative ginger model, what I call Margossian’s style with technical and glamour waves, wavy hair and BB tie.

Images can transmit any type of message ! But for that second interpretation of the tendencies, we decrypted two waves which are in competition like a style battle. And here we are in a very opposed universe with these very Hollywood codes of the femininity. A wave like Rita Hayworth with her famous role Gilda, American blow dry on XXL hair, a huge flexible side braid. And again volume in a half-tie.

And for the hair color ?

Copper hair is back but it especially fits with a very crazy festival which takes place every year during the first week end of September in Breda in the Netherlands and gathers the ginger people of the country ! This is the Redhead Days. And this summer  the first Ginger-Pride Festival will take place in the United Kingdom. Just a new step to obtain an intense copper color…

Do you think that your clients in Geneva of the salon MC Genève will like your new creations ?

Honestly, I think that for the graphical black bob, it will be more difficult than for the American wavy blow-dry or the waves which already have followers.

Last question, we can see in your pictures a Bruno Estatoff as a Photographer…

Yes absolutely. Bruno Estatoff E is both Hairdresser spokesperson of l’Oréal Porte-Parole and trainer but he’s been adding another skill for a few years: The photography. We decided that challenge of working together after a conversation. I say challenge because according to Bruno I am…and then himself too…, challenge accepted, we had fun even with the pressure of working together for the first time and having the same profession.
