Hairstyle, Mediterranean beauty, the festival celebrates its 10th anniversary

Olivier Sittoni, how do you move from Universal Music to hairdressing artistic events ?
Very easy! The music industry started to slow down fifteen years ago and fate made me discover a hairdressing show. I didn’t know that this profession could exist out of the salons “on stage” with choreography, music and artists… a few difference regarding logistics for me. I then left my protégés Gérald De Palmas, Damien Saez and other Calogero for hair artists !
Creation of a professional salon…
I realized that in our region, we didn’t have that kind of manifestation like in Paris. However, the hairdressers are inspired by what they see, listen, and test during these days of exhibition and shows. I then had that idea to bring this art in our beautiful region. And that professional salon celebrates its ten years anniversary this year. With hairdresser leaders for each of the four brands Wella, Schwarzkopf, Eugène Perma and l’Oréal Professionnel.
How did happen that manifestation ?
There were 3500 visitors, 1500 spectators for the shows, 40 exhibitors who represent about a hundred professional brands, workshops in the amphitheatre Pasino. A good alternation between the dream on stage, the technique and commercial demonstrations, the new products and material. The aim of these exhibitions is of course informing the hairdressers about the tendencies so that they can inform their clients, create to make them dream.
