Let’s start with the small ballerina bun!

[multicol]Lea Seydoux Step 1 - Brush your hair, backcomb a bit the roots to create a bit of volume.   Step 2 - Make a high ponytail – the level of your ponytail will be the level of your bun, you can do in a asymmetrical way, at the top of head or a bit less, it is the right time!   Step 3 - Backcomb the lengths and roll them up, strand by strand, at the base of the ponytail, fix with hairpins.   Step 4 - Fix with hairspray and this is it!   ©FRANCK PROVOST - Cannes 2013

    And now, the XXL version...

[multicol]Step 1 - Same thing, brush your hair and make a high ponytail.   Step 2 “luxury” - Now, you need an accessory… the boudin in luxury version – well, luxury, only a few Euros – or the sock pleb version. First, luxury version: put your ponytail in the boudin, like a second elastic. You cover the boudin in a similar way with strands of the ponytail. You add a new elastic at the base of the chignon which holds the hair on the boudin.     And you pull in the strands which go out.   Step 2 “prolo” - Let’s do a sock parenthesis: take an old holed sock, cut the end of the toes and roll up, you’ve just made a boudin pleb version. Once you hold your customized sock, put your ponytail inside it. Place it at the level of the ends and roll the hair up getting down.   Step 4 - Fix a few rebellious strands with hairpins, hairspray and this it!Christine Margossian
