I tested for you... the eyelash extensions

The principle

Eyelash extensions enable to have longer eyelashes and to give them volume. That was a concept which immediately seduced me. The principle is simple: to make eyelashes longer, more curved and thicker, we put extension to each eyelash, eyelash after eyelash.
For that, I have the choice between several lengths according to my wish and to my natural eyelashes length. The extensions vary between from 8 to 14 mm long and from 0,15 to 0,2 mm thick. There is also different kind of curves and different materials: mink, silk with lacker effect and artificial eyelashes very resistant.
Be careful, goddess look into the bargain...

The application

Lying, I close my eyes. The technician, Trin, first protects the lower lashes and the contour of the eye before perfectly cleaning the eyes to make sure the extensions stick well.
The application can then start. Trin applies the extensions on each eyelash, one by one and fix them with aglue specially designed for that. The number of natural eyelashes defines the quantity of extensions to apply. Generally, you can count between 90 to 140 extensions for each eye. Not less !
The application lasts about 2 hours and is not painful at all. As the minutes go by, I get asleep under the relaxing musique...

The result

When Trin tells me that the application is finished, I’m a bit scared. The result ? Just surprising ! The extensions are perfectly invisible and the result 100% natural. My eyelashes are longer, more curved and thicker... I even don’t need to put make up anymore. A real job of artist ! Regarding the care, nothing special: the extensions are easy to live with. Each one last until the end of lifespan of the natural eyelash. The extension falls with the natural eyelash. They last about one month and need to be retouched after. A technical application but a very efficient result !
