To celebrate the international women’s day on 8 March 2014, the theme is: « Equality for women is the progress for everyone ». This year, the international women’s day will be celebrated at the United Nations headquarters in New York on 7 March.

[multicol]A day dedicated to focus on the status of women in the world: inequalities men women, violence, excisions, honour crimes, forced marriage and others bridges to the future in order to keep getting close as fast as possible to a respect of women from all points of view. It is also an opportunity to take stock of the progress made, to promote change and to celebrate the acts of courage and of determination carried out by ordinary women.
In France, the historic figure of feminism, Antoinette Fouque, will be in the heads during the different meetings; Co-founder of MLF – women’s movement in 1968. Indeed, this militant and psychoanalyst passed away on Wednesday 19 February in Paris at the age of 77.
