New Year’s Eve is celebrated every 31 December, last day of the Gregorian calendar. It consists in welcoming the New Year in a festive year and being awake until midnight or much after midnight. Today, very « marketed » this occasion imposes sophisticated dress codes, hairstyles fitting with the outfit and a very drunken party. And whether they are pagan or religious, the principle remains the same, that is to say, celebrating the last day of the year at the winter solstice.
