There are so many products to take care of your hair that
    LiveCoiffure.com
proposes you a series of articles regarding the different types of capillary problems and the adapted products to resolve them: greasy hair, dry hair, fine/dull hair, dandruff…   Let’s start today with greasy hair and scalp. It is worth remembering that the problem comes from an excess of sebum. But what is it? A substance naturally secreted by the sebaceous glands. The sebum gives elasticity to the skin, it is present on hair.  We call it also the lipid film. With the sweat, it becomes the hydrolipidic film. The latter is good for the skin because it hydrates and protects from cutaneous dryness. Other action: protect yourself from microbes by acidifying and waterproofing the skin thanks to the fatty and lactic acids. Like all the glands, the sebaceous ones are linked to the hormones; which explains a more important production during adolescence or pregnancy. An excess of sebum leads to a greasy skin and to the greasy hair problems.

    What to do ?

The first thing to do is to use a special shampoo. These shampoos are often rich in clay or nettle.  We advise you two emulsions one after the other. The texture of your product will be fluid and transparent contrary to a shampoo which seems creamy. You can leave on the active principles for two/three minutes. For those who love daily shampoo, try to wait 48h because the sebaceous glands need it to play their role. With this new habit of washing hair very frequently, the nature can’t do its protective job of the scalp. If the scalp “feels naked”, the overproduction of sebum is set off and it is after a vicious circle if you want to have a normal rhythm again. Regarding the rinsing step, the grandmother trick which works very well, is to rinse your hair with cold water. The way of living is to be considered as an alarm signal to these dermatologic reactions. They often reflect the health status and the state of fatigue of your body. Listening to your body is a step towards wellbeing. Watch your diet (you know about it: meats, rich cheese) and your sleep! Yes, resting, because your hair reacts to the lack of sleep.   Well, ready for our shopping products? We did a selection for you, of a few special shampoos for greasy hair:
