Even if it is a landslide, the Side hairstyles are not new ! In the forties and fifties, the Hollywood stars – and especially their hairdressers – knew very well the advantage of putting the waved hair on the side. Focus on these hairstyles.

The principle of this asymmetrical hairstyle is simple: adding volume on a side in opposition to the other one, revealing a part of the face and if the hair is long, freeing a shoulder. The look is feminine and sexy, a result a bit sophisticated.
Process
You just need to part your hair on the side.
You can then treat the small side with a wet effect fixing gel to flatten your hair, fix that part of the hair behind the ear, make a flatten braid or even a few twists. The contrast of both sides immediately gives a volume effect with a different texture and reveals the power of the look.
Before choosing which profile you want to expose to the light, observe very well your face and if you feel your cheekbones more prominent, your eyes more feline… that means you are on the good side to show your personality !
The principle is the same with short hair.
But in that case, it is the structure of the hairstyle in itself which determines the asymmetry of your volume. The touch of lighter color on the longest part will accentuate this impression of volume and contrast.
