T
aking ideas back in the forties yes but with a modernized result. That's what I wanted to do with that rolled chignon around the face. It confers femininity, softness and romanticism.
The best is to have at least the hair at the level of the neck. Start by drying your hair then an undulation of the mid-lengths and the ends will help to obtain this volume.
- Texturize your hair fiber with a powder hairspray. Make a side parting.
- Start to do a rounded hem with the big side of your parting.
- Don't forget to let a movement on the front for more softness and modernity.
- You turn that way all around the head making that movement down on the neck ,and that, up to the small side of the parting.
- Fix the end with hairpins in the inside of the obtained hem. You just need your hands to do that tie which seems so natural.
- A fixing spray for the final touch optimizes a long lasting effect… at least during one night !
