The e-commerce open to hairdressers : COIFFEA
-
The first hairdresser who have said that his colleagues and partners were not sellers was Jean-Louis David. Since then, many trainings can today prove that the professionals are evolving being aware that a complete work goes through advice but the resale figures are struggling to culminate. For that, the site Coiffea CAC offers a solution to hairdressers.

Some hairdressers are convinced that the “sale” is not for them, up to a point that they are pointing the finger at the supermarkets and the shops selling professional products, their fierce competitors…and internet is adding fuel to the fire with a constant progression of online purchase at very attractive prices.
For that, Patrick Hamann, dynamic general manager of the confederation of the hairdressers artisans had the idea to propose a shopping website that can be used by all the computerized hairdressers : Coiffea CAC. The idea is to make them use for free an e-shop…something like believing again to Santa Claus.
The principle is simple : The hairdressers inform their clients of "their" novelty, an online shop. This consumer buys a product via the shopping website and when they confirm their purchase, they attribute their order to their salon entering the contact details of the latter. The sale of the product is that way automatically attributed to the selling salon which will get about 25% of the price of the product excluding tax. Technically, the creation of the shop is almost instantaneous, you just need to enter its code to follow its sales and the amount of its balance. Of course, the hairdresser must have a functional website but here again the CAC can help them with their process by offering basic formulas for 9.90 €. And if the hairdresser doesn’t have any website, thanks to a specific password, its client will still be able to buy online.
The hairdresser is not a good seller but they communicate all day long and Coiffea CAC bets on that point to promote that novelty. Regarding referencing, Google will do the rest for Coiffea. Other extraordinary point : The number of references..by brand ! Indeed, 150 brands are available. Which enables also each hairdresser to sell products that they don’t usually reference. On that point, all the brands play the game and any of them are opposed to the project.
We can imagine the part of the market that it is likely to represent.
