  • Tips for the Bad Hair Days

  • The best of us also have bad hair days – Cara even has a “Bad Hair Day” hat. You wake up peacefully, hear the birds singing outside and you think it’s gonna be a beautiful day. However, you come across your mirror and see a shapeless non-glamorous volume... You clearly don’t have the time to wash your hair! No panic, there are no hair problems, only solutions.

    Problem n°1: greasy hair

Now is the time to use your dry shampoo. Apply on the roots and your excess of sebum will be absorbed. You will have fresh hair again.

    Problem n°2: frizz

No need to use your hair straightener – all the more so as the heat on dirty hair may not be a good idea. A knob of smoothing cream and a low ponytail will save you.

    Problem n°3: static electricity

Your hair gives you the impression you’ve been electrocuted? Solution: a no-rinse hydrating cream should help you. Put a knob of cream in your hands then apply on the lengths and the ends.

    Problem n°4: lack of volume

Here again, the dry shampoo can help you! We tend to forget this trick but the latter is going to add a bit of volume, perfect to make a bun or an amazing ponytail.

You can also use your comb and backcomb a big strand on the top of the head to make a beautiful ponytail like in the sixties.

    Problem n°5: persistent cowlick

If the cowlick is part of your fringe, try to make a small braid fixed on the front, your cowlick will miraculously disappear.

If it is in the rest of your hair, you can try a bohemian braid: make a classic braid – or even better, a fishtail braid – then try to obtain a beautiful tousled effect.

    Problem n°6: flat curls

Put your head down, spray some salt water – the Beach Spray by Jean-Louis David for example. Redefine the curls with your fingers. The day can now start!

  • Another tip: the hairstyle which saves you all the time

Whatever your problem, you can always hide yourself behind a “camouflage” hairstyle. You can try the wet style: flatten your hair thanks to a styling product with wet effect and nobody will tell you anything.

Other possibility: the high bun. Brush your hair head down, tie it at the top of your head. Now you just have to make a messy bun. If you don’t have enough volume, you can add a donut.

Last solution: the accessories! A beautiful headband and your dull, greasy hair full of cowlicks will be nothing but a memory!
