Eric Ouaknine is a 39 years old photographer. He comes from Marseilles and you can see more and more of its photos in the fashion press, fashion design and other jeweller's. What is his story ?
He studied medicine as a male nurse ! At that time he already like the art, as his father was a painter. He was influenced by Florence's museums, the big frescos of Botticelli, de Velasquez, de Léonard de Vinci and the baroque art.

), he was born in 1974 and was attracted to apocalyptic fictions, he was brought up among the universe of Mad Max, Terminator... That was for the feeding bottle time !
He finally stopped his medicine studies to live his passion, photography. In 2001, Eric and a photographer began partners, they created a model association/agency and he made the most of the opportunity to practise doing numerous tests, particularly portraits. His mother, Mrs Ouaknine is the manager of an optical store and by chance, in 2003, her son Eric signed his first advertising contract with
Azzaro Optique.
In 2008, Eric wanted to broaden his horizons. He started working in fashion with young creators. Then, he photographed the jewellers' and Haute Couture's collections. It is in this new universe that his friend introduced him to a LiveCoiffure's top hairdresser, Jérôme Guézou. Press features were created,
Papa Tango Charlie Angels, and then an other
chic’issime. " Thanks to my experience with glasses and jewellers' I now pay attention to details. It's quite hard to photograph hairstyles. I spend a lot of time working on the lights ".
