We take care of our children’s hair !

We love our children and we just want the best for them ! Indeed, as parents, we tend to be seduced by marketing products which promise miracles. Shampoos which remove any knot and don’t sting the eyes of your child...however, it doesn’t work !

So do you need to buy a shampoo special baby ?

Until the age of 2 years yes, it is recommended to use an adapted mild product.

After, you can use a shampoo for children which will remove the excess of sebum, the impurities accumulated during the day on the scalp and the sweat. Strawberry, apple o caramel, there is something for every taste to please your cherub !

The main enemy of the children are the knots of course ! As a solution, it is recommended to apply a conditioner or a detangling milk ? We recommend you the milk, milder and rich in natural elements, less rich and less harmful than the conditioner for adults. Remember that children don’t have the same hair thickness as us ! So it is useless to make it heavy and to harm it with more chemical products.

And to remove the knots, the main question the parents are asking, what to use ? The comb or the brush ? How many times a day ? As the hair of children is fragile, it is recommended to brush it max twice a day, beyond this number, it will tend to harm the scalp. Furthermore, for a one year old child, the hair is very fine and brittle, it is recommended to choose a natural goat hair brush.

 From 3-4 years you can use the comb and use it three times a day, choose a fine toothed comb to detangle with easiness.

After the detangling comes the drying ! So can you use the hair drier ? No! Apart from harming the scalp and creating static electricity, the alternation of hot and cold dries the hair fiber. Better using a cotton towel and towel dry the hair with it. If you are in a hurry and you need to go straightaway, use the hairdryer carefully at low temperature after having towel dried the hair.

What about the style ? The barrettes for little girls, the gel for the boys, from what age ? Good news, there is no age to use these artifices to style your children. However, use a gel low in alcohol or a modeling wax adapted to children. The plastic hair grips are recommended better than the iron ones which will break the hair.
