The hairdressers will thank a former researcher of CNRS, the doctor Christian Carme, for having created a more silent hair dryer. Indeed, it was that man, manager of the company technoFirst created in 1990, who cares about well-being with an active control of the noise and the vibrations in several fields. You can find the result of his researches in those fields: industry, BTP, aviation and … hairdressing.
Indeed, Christian Carme developed a hairdryer which is much more silent than those used in hairdressing salons but with a difference of twenty decibels.
This is, depending of the number of hairdressers, important in terms of difference of sound ambiance in a salon and of course a big difference for each professional who endures this nuisance all day long.
The new tool was presented during the program Télé Matin in June 2014, animated by William Leymergie on France 2.
