Provélite Academy: the first hairdressing school to be certified in France

The 26^th of March 2013, the Parisian hairdressing school, Provélite Academy, received a double ISO 9001 certification and NF Service Formation Professionnelle by the Association Française de Normalisation. Therefore, Provélite Academy is the first and only hairdressing school in France. For you, LiveCoiffure.com gathered information about this “4 stars Academy”.   Provélite Academy, it's a hairdressing school that offers a level 4 diploma training that leads to a Hairdressing Technical School Certificate. Opened since September 2008, it is accessible to anyone who has a Hairdressing City and Guilds Qualification or has at least 5 years of professional experience.   A Provalliance group's partner, the school wants to highlights its technical knowledge through this certification request. Receiving this certification “ shows the group's will to develop into a company more and more responsible and attentive to the needs of clients proposing them qualitative services”, according to a Provalliance communiqué.

Listening to the students

The big premises welcome about 300 students, aged between 16 and 40 years old and divided into 16 classes. [/two_third] [/row] A two-years training, one class a week, classes both about theory and practice, and 4 days in hairdressing salons : this is what Provélite Academy offers. In deed, if it is great for the students, it is also a good thing for the companies that can chose when their disciple goes to class. The class permit them, among other things, to study new management technique, to learn how to listen to clients... To cut a long story short, they gain useful skills needed in this profession.

Under Provost's watchful eye

With a success rate higher than 80 %, Provélite Academy offers “ultra-modern educational means”, as well as a respect for the different levels “that are not mix together in classes”.   Besides, in these classes there are never more than 25 students, “so that we can pay more attention to each and everyone of the them”. Thanks to its direct connection to the Provalliance group, the school permits the student to meet with Franck Provost and his son, who are both really concerned by the success of the students. Staying in the background, they encourage them to work hard to make the profession pride.   Of course, one can wonder if this Academy is not only a way for the Provalliance group to “hire” future employees: “It is not our aim” claimed Virginie Gallardo, we are not doing any resale or any special offer on Provalliance group's products.
