I tested for you: the volume hairstyle products
-
Need of volume ? This week, it’s time to fight flat hair with three hairstyle products... This is the week of flat hair. Who’s fault? The autumn? the fatigue ? Voltaire ? Anyway, I really needed a solution! This week will be dedicated to volume hairstyles products.[multicol][multicol]A morning, I get up and I feel like having a sixties hairstyle. But I have only 1 minute and 23 seconds before being late at work... On dry hair, I apply a bit of de Design Powder on my hair – not so much, the packaging is well done, the side "salt cellar" avoids the doses accidents. I work with my hands: the result is immediate. My hair has a better texture, it seems I did a high quality backcombing. I tie my hair in a half ponytail with a small vintage barrette and I have competitive beehive on the head! The mate effect adds a little rock effect to all of that. During the day, the beehive fell down leaving place to a style/tousled volume. I would have need a bit of water to have a lasting fixation. But it gives me a lot of ideas of hairstyles to realize even with my two left hands. However, when it’s time brush your hair at night, it’s not so pleasant – ouch the knots!

On towel-dried hair, I apply a bit of the product why styling my flat hair the head down with my fingers. The product has a subtle perfume and melts very well in my hair. I start immediately a blow-dry. My hair is as light as if I hadn’t put anything in – good point! -, the volume effect is natural.
The volume hasn’t fall down like a failed soufflé and my blow dry held the whole day – however obligation to tie hair the next day. A bit of moisturizing wouldn’t have been too much with my hair. I would say the volume texturising fluid by Camille Albane aims to a natural result but better with a moisturizing product maybe.
