he New York brand Redken innovates with an amazing product: Color Rebel. This hair make-up can be found in five punchy colors: from express violet to flashy pink, a shiny golden color, the chic coral and the red to add a Rock N’ Roll touch to your outfit. Rebellious as I am, I bet on the red !
This ephemeral color rich in pure pigments can be used very easily with its sponge applicator. You just to apply the product directly on the hair as if your were coloring it… a child's play ! It is dried very fast, you just have to wait one minute before having a flamboyant hair color !
The plus of this product: the possibility to choose the areas of application. For those who want to adopt the red attitude - or any other color of the range - , Color Rebel is perfect because it's gone after a few shampoos (between 2 and 5). And for the clumsy persons, no panic, this color doesn't stain the clothes.
How to apply Rebel Color ?
Shake the product maintaining the cap closed. Then, after having removed the black cap, you introduce the sponge and you turn the applicator in the direction of the arrows until you can see the product.
The hair color is applied on clean hair. An emulsion is sufficient for the shampoo. You can also superimpose the applications choosing only certain zones: for example, the end for a tie and dye effect. Don't hesitate to comb to avoid a compact effect.
Then, the colorant must dry naturally or with a hairdryer. For a more discreet application, a single coat is sufficient. For those who are brave like me, you can put several coats, making sure you let dry the formula between each application.
With my natural wavy hair, the product was easy to apply. I had to apply it several times because I have a very dark brown hair.
For those with fine hair, if you want a long lasting effect, use a texturizing spray before the application, your hair will be less slippery.

How do I remove Rebel Color ?
The color past away after two or five shampoos…
But if you want to remove it the day after a party, you just have to apply a product rich in argan oil and then have a shampoo and the product disappears, magic !
