Christine Margossian, Meilleur Ouvrier de France and hairdresser ambassador for l’Oréal Professionnel has more than one string to her bow. This versatile woman likes exploring different fields and the one in which she has been excelling for several years is image consulting. Both independent coach/ consultant and trainer for the CAC group, Christine Margossian, responds to Livecoiffure’s questions.

Livecoiffure: Christine, as an image consultant, what are your recommendations for the celebrations?
Christine Margossian: I give a different information to the clients in terms of sophistication or originality according to the outfits, to the celebrations or family meetings. This is the occasion to fall outside of the framework and dare to express oneself
Livecoiffure: You don’t like the term “makeover” but do you have many clients who want to make a real change for 2017?
Christine Margossian: Indeed, I prefer the expression “image consulting” because this what I do. The makeover is more spectacular, more marketing but less sustainable. But the basis, which is the change, is the same. In general, the change of hairstyle can be part of the list of resolutions for the new year so I guess that 2017 will keep my timetable of transformations busy.

Livecoiffure: Offering image consulting for the celebrations to a person may be not well interpreted. So how to avoid awkwardness?
Christine Margossian: Well the person interested in image consulting would have said to their relatives that it was their “dream” or their project so the present will certainly make them happy. But if a husband gives this kind of gift to his wife who doesn’t think it is usefull…the interpretation of such a present can be devastating.
Livecoiffure: In terms of hairstyle, what do you recommend for the end of the year!
Christine Margossian: I recommend, as always, to make sure that there is a harmony between the outfit, the place and ONESELF. From there, if I refer to the tendencies of the season, we can think about more sophisticated hairstyles but also simple ties.
